Boat Detailer & Sales Support

Talley’s Pier 77 Marine is a full service boat dealership for Regal, Yamaha Outboards, Volvo Penta with onsite Service Facility and mobile service on Lake Norman, Mountain Island Lake & Lake Wylie. Candidate must be self-motivated, organized with a great attention to detail, with effective time management skills, work with minimum supervision. Marine industry experience is desired. Normal Schedule will be Tuesday through Saturday. Competitive pay based on experience and skill. Candidate must have valid drivers license, pass background test and pre-employment drug test. We are looking for Boat Detailers to join our team of exceptional people. Experience in the marine industry is preferred but not necessarily required. Clean driving record is required. We are looking for applicants who possess the following skills: Excellent work ethic Attention to detail Ability to run high speed buffers Ability to work on your feet all day Ability to work outside Thorough & Hard Working Good with Time Management Good Judgment Work well with others, Work as a Team Good Driving ability, Towing experience preferred but not required As a Boat Detailer, daily job will consist of but not limited to the following examples: Complete Detailing of entire boat (Interior and Exterior) – Boats range from 20′ to 42′ Wash Exterior of boats and trailers Lift boats off trailers using Yard Arms for bottom washes Toughly clean interior of boats Compound exterior using high speed buffer and compounds Wax Exterior Prepare new and used boats for sales department Assist with preparing boats for delivery to customers Touch up bottom paint on occasion Detail boats on site and on site at the lake Assist in keeping facilities and company equipment clean and operational Perform work in a timely manner Communicate with Parts Manager regarding supplies needed
