PHP CodeIgniter Developer

Job Title: PHP CodeIgniter Developer Experience: 3 to 4 Years Location: Ahmedabad Employment Type: Full-time Job Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain dynamic web applications using PHP and CodeIgniter framework. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient PHP code following coding standards and best practices. Develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party services (payment gateways, SMS, email APIs, etc.). Work with MySQL/PostgreSQL databases to design schemas, write optimized queries, and ensure data integrity. Implement authentication, authorization, and session management. Perform debugging, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and bug fixing. Collaborate with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and project managers to meet business requirements. Manage source code using Git (version control, branching, merging, pull requests). Ensure application security, data protection, and compliance with security best practices. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement. Stay updated with the latest PHP, CodeIgniter, and web development trends. Key Requirements: 3–4 years of hands-on experience in PHP development with strong expertise in CodeIgniter. Strong understanding of PHP OOP concepts, MVC architecture, and CodeIgniter framework. Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs. Solid knowledge of database design, query optimization, and performance tuning. Proficiency in Git for version control. Experience with Composer and dependency management. Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman. Understanding of server-side security practices (CSRF, XSS, SQL injection prevention). Added Advantages (Good to Have): Experience with CodeIgniter helpers, libraries, hooks, and custom core extensions. Knowledge of JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, or frontend frameworks like Vue.js / React.js. Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean).
