Join the RoverVans team to help others make their travel dreams a reality. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Schaumburg, IL, for a Van Build Tech. The primary responsibilities include assembling, installing, and customizing van components such as flooring, cabinetry, electrical systems, and lighting. The role also involves maintaining high-quality craftsmanship, regularly troubleshooting and repairing van systems, and collaborating with design and engineering teams to ensure custom specifications are met. Additional duties may include following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Qualifications Experience in carpentry, electrical installation, and other hands-on technical skills related to vehicle conversionsProficiency in using power tools and hand tools for cutting, assembling, and installing partsKnowledge of basic mechanical and electrical systems, including wiring and troubleshootingStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanshipProblem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a teamPhysical capability to handle tools and materials while working in a fast-paced environmentPrior experience in van conversion or similar industries is a plusBasic understanding of safety requirements and workplace safety practices
