It is a chance to help shape a mission platform other systems depend on.Here?s What Your Day-to-Day Could IncludeDesign and develop features for a Java and Spring-based application that manages data specificationsMaintain and enhance a user interface used to define attributes and valid valuesBuild and support RESTful services that provide programmatic access to specificationsSupport database development and data persistence strategiesParticipate in testing, deployment, and documentation activitiesCommunicate progress, technical decisions, and risks clearly to teammates and leadershipWork collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong engineering standardsMinimum QualificationsClearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, must be active. We do not have the ability to sponsor clearancesCitizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visasBachelor?s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university, plus relevant Software Engineering experience supporting programs of similar scope and complexityAdditional experience may be substituted for a degree where permitted by the labor categoryRequired SkillsStrong experience with Java development, including enterprise applicationsExperience using the Spring frameworkExperience designing and implementing RESTful web servicesFamiliarity with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL or similar SQL platformsExperience with user interface development, design, and testingKnowledge of web technologies including XML and JSONExperience working in Linux environmentsFamiliarity with container technologies such as Docker and KubernetesExperience with software deployment pipelinesFamiliarity with issue tracking or task management toolsAbility to communicate technical concepts clearly and professionallyDesired SkillsExperience with J2EE application developmentFamiliarity with additional ticketing systems such as RedmineExperience working in collaborative, cross-functional engineering teamsAbility to work effectively with minimal supervision in a mission environmentCompensation Range: $189,000.00 - $243,000.00 The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate?s background and suitability for the role.
