Teachers - Infant/Toddler

Job Summary: We are seeking passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler Teachers to join our team at our 7 Corners and Bailey's Crossroads locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can learn and grow. Responsibilities involves supervising and caring for infants and toddlers, implementing age-appropriate curriculum, and fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement lesson plans based on the curriculum framework - Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for infants and toddlers - Plan and organize activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development - Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents - Collaborate with other teachers to create a cohesive educational experience - Maintain accurate records of each child's attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones - Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and well-maintained according to Virginia Child Care Licensing Standards - Adhere to all safety regulations, standard protocols, program policies and procedures. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related field OR valid Infant/Toddler CDA. - Previous experience working with infants and toddlers (6 weeks to 2.9 years) in a classroom setting. - Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods - Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written (bilingual is a plus, but not required.) - Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment - Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation - Patience, creativity, and flexibility in working with young children We offer competitive pay and an excellent benefits packages to our employees.
