Lead Toddler Infant Teacher
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lead Toddler Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development, classroom management, and experience working with young children, including infants and toddlers. The Lead Toddler Infant Teacher will be responsible for creating engaging activities, ensuring safety, and fostering a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes developmental milestones. Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to toddlers and infants, supporting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development
Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times
Manage classroom activities, including playtime, learning exercises, and rest periods
Maintain accurate documentation of children's progress and daily activities
Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage social skills and cooperation
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's development and daily experiences
Ensure the classroom environment is clean, organized, and conducive to learning
Collaborate with team members to plan special events and educational outings
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures when necessary
Support inclusive practices by working effectively with children with disabilities or special needs
Qualifications
Prior experience in early childhood education, childcare, daycare, or similar settings involving infants and toddlers
Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques
Experience with classroom management and behavior management strategies
Certifications in first aid and CPR required; additional training in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus
Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
Ability to create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for young children
Passion for early childhood education and commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
