Zipline Guide

About us High Point Adventure is looking for guides who excel in customer service, are safety conscious, and love working outdoors in all conditions. This is a physically and mentally demanding position that requires attention to detail, critical thinking, and active communication skills. This is a part-time seasonal position with High Point Adventure. Qualifications: Minimum of 18 years of age Ability to pass first aid and CPR course Safety conscious Excellent verbal communication skills Ability to lift 50 pounds Comfortable working at heights of 50 or more feet Able to stand outside for long periods of time in all weather conditions Availability: Part Time Seasonsal employment starting immediately Must be available Weekends and Holidays Compensation: Pay based on qualifications Benefits: Free Membership to any High Point Climbing and Fitness location during seasonal employment Free Ruby Falls tours for Employee and Family (2 adults, 2 kids) on non-peak days High Point Adventure zip line guides provide quality guest experiences, adhere to the highest standards, and operate smootly. Guides will assist guests in understanding of zip line screening requirements, briefing activites, donning PPE, answering questions, and encourage guests to bravely face fears and anxiety. Guies will facilitate climbing walls, zip line sending and recieving platforms, monitor all activity areas, assist with gear up and gear down, perform necessary rescue and ecvactuation procedures, and use excellent risk management during all duties. No experience is necessary as all on-site training is provided and required for employment.
