Operations Manager – Food ManufacturingOverviewOversees daily production operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality manufacturing of food products. Leads production teams, manages schedules, and ensures compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily production activities to meet output, quality, and safety goalsSupervise, train, and support production staffMaintain compliance with HACCP, GMPs, and FDA/USDA requirementsMonitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiativesCoordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teamsEnsure proper inventory levels of raw materials and packagingEnforce safety protocols and support incident investigationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, or related field preferred3–5+ years of experience in food manufacturing (bakery, beverage or dairy)Strong leadership and communication skillsKnowledge of food safety programs and regulatory requirementsExperience with Lean/5S or similar improvement toolsWork EnvironmentRequires time on the production floor in varying temperaturesMay require off‑shift or weekend support
