Lead Toddler Teacher/Opener

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionateToddler Teacher/Opener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and develop essential skills. The Toddler Teacher will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate curricula, assessments and screenings as well as fostering positive relationships with students and their families. Duties - Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. - Manage classroom activities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all children. - Utilize effective behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior among students. - Assess children's developmental progress and maintain accurate records of their achievements. - Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and any concerns. - Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through interactive activities. - Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience. - Maintain a clean and organized classroom that is conducive to learning. Qualifications - Previous experience in daycare or preschool settings is preferred. - Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create a positive learning atmosphere. - Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. - Experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children is highly desirable. - Ability to implement effective behavior management strategies. - Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively. - A nurturing attitude with a passion for teaching young children. - Relevant certifications or degrees in early childhood education or related fields are a plus.
