We are locally owned, which allows us to make decisions in the best interest of our patients and our community.With our 60+ experienced Healthcare Professionals, innovative technology, and wide range of services and treatment options we help each patient live his or her best life.ResponsibilitiesPrepares patients by reviewing patient medical history and taking vitalsAssist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the PhysicianPrepare patients for examinations, treatments, and proceduresDocument patient information utilizing electronic medical recordsFollow guidelines of HIPAA in maintaining patient confidentialityCross train in both check in and check out dutiesPerform additional administrative duties and projects as needed Requirements & SkillsLicense(s): Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferredCompletion of a Medical Assistant course requiredExcellent multi-tasking, organizational and computer skillsStrong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrates the ability to work cooperatively within a team settingExcellent written communication skills with strong attention to detailMedical office experience preferredAllscripts knowledge preferred Employment DetailsFull TimeMonday-FridayFlexibility with hours is requiredPractice Website: https://www.unityhc.com/practice/southside-family-practice/
