Lapping Operator

Job Description Currently seeking a Lapping Operator for a full-time Temporary to permanent position in Hudson, MA.Responsibilities of Lapping Operator:-Set-up and Operate lapping machines-prepare and mix lapping slurries-Load/unload fixtures and materials-Monitor machine and make adjustments as needed-Follow all work instructions, schematics, and other documentation-Inspect and measure materials throughout process-Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks on machines-Completed other related tasks as assignedRequirements of Lapping Operator-Minimum High School Diploma or GED-Previous lapping, polishing, or machining experience preferred-semiconductor manufacturing experience a plus-experience using precision measuring tools-Mechanically inclined-Basic math skills-Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand throughout shift-great attention to detailHours: 2:00pm-12:30am Monday-ThursdayPay Rate: $18.00-$19.00/hr Company DescriptionThe Alpha Group is one of Massachusetts largest privately owned staffing firms.
