Packaging Specialist

This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety and compliance procedures, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Weighing and Packaging: Accurately weigh products and place them into appropriate containersLabeling: Ensure all products are labeled correctly with the necessary information, including strain, weight, and potencyQuality Control: Maintain high standards of quality control to ensure products meet company and regulatory standardsInventory Management: Track and manage inventory of packaging materials and finished productsCompliance: Adhere to all state and local regulations regarding cannabis packaging and labelingSanitation: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packaging area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized regularlyTeam Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targetsReporting: Document and report any discrepancies or issues with packaging processesQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in a packaging or manufacturing environment, preferably in the industryStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesKnowledge of state and local cannabis regulations is a plusExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to lift and move up to 50 poundsBenefits:Competitive salaryHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offEmployee discounts on cannabis products401(k)100% Employee Owned (ESOP)Physical and Mental Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position for 5-hour increments (10 hour shifts), move and/or position oneself, communicate, operate and/or prepare, place, position objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally move packages weighing up to 25 lb. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close observation and the ability to adjust focus.
