OverviewSeeking a technical professional with strong credentials in Systems Engineering and Cyber Security. ResponsibilitiesProvides technical expertise to design, build, configure, and maintain information systemsSupport systems engineering activities in Windows and Linux environmentsMake recommendations based on knowledge of customer requirements and industry best practicesCollaborate with colleagues in a dynamic DevOps environmentAssume lead on assigned projectsCreate and maintain technical documentationResponsible for providing purchase justifications and project benefit analysisForecasts costs for project related equipment and softwareRequirements5+ years of practical, service-oriented experience in the IT fieldActive USG TS SCI security clearance with CI PolygraphHave working knowledge and experience with ICD 503, NIST 800-53r4/5 controls, NIST 800-171R2, NIST Risk Management Framework, NISPOM Chapter 8, DCSA DAAPM 2.2Experience in performing a wide variety of security tasks to include vulnerability scanning, compliance audits, and IT security program management support activitiesExtensive experience with USG Assessment and Authorization processAbility to build environments utilizing Windows and Linux productsAbility to resolve difficult technical issues including those across multiple operating systemsStrong foundation using cyber security tools, applications, and enterprise-wide services such as, vSphere, Active Directory Administration, SSSD, IIS, Windows Firewall/ Firewalld, Certificate Authority, WSUS, Yum/SatelliteFamiliarity with network storageExperience evaluating the security controls of complex networks and systemsExperience automating routine administrative tasksCapable of writing proposals, procedures, and technical documentationStrong communication, organizational, and time management skillsTeam player who can also work independently and has the ability to thrive in an environment that changes oftenBachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related STEM fieldRecommended QualificationsSecurity Certification (such as Security+, CISSP)Technical certifications (such as RHEL or Microsoft)Some experience with Cisco IOS/NX-OS configurationAbility to program in an administrative language (Python, PowerShell, PowerCLI, and more)Understanding of Esri software including ArcGIS, ArcInfo, ArcView, and ArcSDE#LI-TM1#LI-onsiteTotal RewardsEsri's competitive total rewards strategy includes industry-leading health and welfare benefits: medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance for employees (and their families), 401(k) and profit-sharing programs, minimum accrual of 80 hours of vacation leave, twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy.
