This will be a per diem position as services are needed.The successful candidate must possess a valid degree and required New York State licensure. It is strongly recommended that *current resume(s) be submitted with the bid. Background check and fingerprinting will be required before work schedule commences.Duties to be performed include:Assessing and treating persons with speech, language, voice, and fluency disordersPlanning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programsRecommending and assisting in obtaining other services as deemed necessaryMay need to perform special education assessments and present findings to a Committee on Special EducationMay select and recommend alternative communication systems and teach their useMay perform research related to speech and language problems and present results of such research
