This role is responsible for monitoring traffic, identifying vulnerabilities, responding to incidents, and maintaining firewall and encryption protocols—all while staying ahead of emerging threats.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor network activity and respond to vulnerabilities in a timely mannerDesign, implement, and maintain security frameworks, policies, and toolsConduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testsManage firewalls, user access, and authentication permissionsDocument security policies and incident responsesSupport audits and compliance effortsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in a technical area of study 5+ years of IT network/security experience in the United StatesExpertise in TCP/IP networking, MPLS, SD-WAN, and firewallsProficiency with security tools and technologies; strong knowledge of protocols and best practicesFamiliarity with Windows networking, SQL/SQL Server, and SAMLCybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA) preferred
