DESCRIPTIONThe incumbent(s) in this position should exhibit the following ACOSTA values:• People Minded – Must show dignity and respect to all people• Integrity – Must exemplify the highest degree of ethical behavior• Results Oriented – Must show passion, pride and commitment to succeed• Trust – Must be honest, sincere and confident• Teamwork – Must build trusting relationships• Innovation – Must progress through a combination of creativity, common sense and vision• Balance – Must maintain an optimistic attitude and keep perspective on what is important in lifeSome Essential Functions of this Position:Account Services:Build client relationships with appropriate marketing and sales functions, this includes visits to client headquarters and participation in client planning meetingsServe as primary client contact at the appropriate management levelTrain/supervise/oversee effective completion of all Account Coordinator & Account Executive job responsibilitiesExpand client relationships to gain incremental revenueShare best practices with others to maximize business potentialUnderstand client's objectives, strategies and tactics and be the client advocate with the agency teamEnsure that we are meeting or exceeding all client contract obligationsProgram Planning and DevelopmentLead or support the strategic planning processParticipate in brainstorm meetingsUtilize Agency planning documents, such as job briefDrive recommended program solutions that meet clients' sales/marketing goals and brand standardsDetermine necessary research to support or validate marketing plansInvestigate and recommend most effective execution strategies and tacticsCreative Execution/ProductionManage creative processLead presentation of creative concepts to clientEnsure recommended creative solution fulfills approved creative guidelines and communication priorities and meets clients objectivesEnsure team follows Agency process and proceduresProgram ImplementationOversee the implementation and management of all marketing tactics and retail initiativesOversee the management of budgets and timelinesOversee the management and communication between the agency team, retail field team and client teamFinancial ResponsibilitiesSupport Director/VP to ensure that agency meets all contracted obligationsEnsure profitability by ensuring that estimates and invoices are appropriately chargedOversee clients' overall Account ReceivablesHelp Director/VP manage overall profitability of accountsOtherBe willing, able, readily available to work outside of "normal hours"Be a team player to your specific account team(s)Work on special projects as directed by leadershipCommunicate upward to ensure that management is informedOversee Account Executive and Account Coordinator roles as assigned to your team.RESPONSIBILITIESWhat You'll DoLead client relationships and oversee the development of shopper and trade marketing strategies that drive conversion and in-store impact.Partner closely with internal strategy, creative, and execution teams to deliver best-in-class programs—ranging from customer-specific activations to omnichannel shopper campaigns.Facilitate clear communication and compelling presentations that translate business objectives into powerful retail-focused marketing solutions.Steer the creation and execution of promotional, digital, and in-store programs that align with client sales goals, retailer priorities, and consumer/shopper insights.Manage account financials and contribute to organic growth by identifying new opportunities within existing client business.QUALIFICATIONSExperience Requirement:Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, or related field.Minimum 6 to 8 years agency experience in retail or consumer packaged goods preferred.Prior experience working with Walmart and/or Sam's Club.Research/analysis experience a plus.Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:Familiarity with market research techniques, including syndicated dataProven leadership, organization, and communications skills.Team player with a positive attitude.Self-starter with strong analytical problem-solving ability.Ability to effectively develop and communicate ideas, both oral and written.Ability to handle multiple projects.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPointDiscoverYourPathABOUT USAcosta Group is a collective uniting the most trusted retail, marketing, and foodservice agencies—Acosta, ActionLink, CORE Foodservice, CROSSMARK, Mosaic, Premium Retail Services, and Product Connections.
