Job Title: Senior Automation Engineer (Power Platform / GenAI) - REMOTE Job ID: 86446 Location: USA - Remote (Must Reside in an Approved Work State) Overview: TEEMA is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to lead the design and rapid delivery of high-impact automation solutions within a healthcare payer environment. This role will own the end-to-end automation lifecycle - from process discovery and ROI analysis through solution architecture, development, and deployment - while leveraging modern Generative AI approaches to reduce manual work and eliminate brittle legacy RPA patterns. You will act as the technical lead, solution architect, and mentor for automation initiatives across clinical, enrollment, provider, and IT operations. What you will be doing: Process Discovery & ROI Analysis Lead workshops with business stakeholders to map complex workflowsIdentify high-volume, rules-based automation opportunitiesQuantify time savings and business impact Solution Architecture & Design Design scalable, end-to-end automation frameworksIntegrate cloud platforms such as SharePoint, Databricks, and enterprise healthcare systemsDefine secure, maintainable automation standards Generative AI-Driven Automation Replace legacy rule-based parsing withLLM-powered intelligent workflowsImplement AI solutions to:Extract structured data from unstructured provider communicationsSummarize clinical documentationAutomate document processing Advanced Development Build complex automations using:Power Automate CloudPower Automate DesktopCustom scripting and connectorsImplement advanced:Error handlingException managementPerformance optimization Integration Strategy Develop custom connectors using Python, PowerShell, JSON, or similar technologiesEnable data exchange where native APIs do not exist Governance & Technical Leadership Establish Secure-by-Design automation standardsPerform code reviews and mentor junior engineersEnsure 24/7 bot stability in virtualized environments What you must have:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field8+ years in software development, data engineering, or workflow automation5+ years expert-level Microsoft Power Platform experience, including:Power Automate CloudPower Automate DesktopDeep experience with:ETL pipelinesREST/SOAP APIsSQL & NoSQL environments Healthcare Domain Expertise Proven experience automating workflows in a healthcare payer environment, such as:Enrollment processingProvider credentialingClinical prior authorizationExperience working with large volumes of unstructured medical data Technical Expertise Generative AI (Gemini, Claude, OpenAI APIs, etc.)OCR / NLP / Document AIPrompt engineering for structured data extractionAutomated testing frameworks for AI validation in regulated environmentsLegacy system integration without native APIsPerformance tuning of bots and scripts Core Competencies Full-stack automation capability (low-code + pro-code)Deep data transformation and pipeline expertiseStrategic, systems-level process thinkingHigh-impact solution delivery in fast-paced environmentsTechnical leadership and mentorship Thank you for your interest in this opportunity.
