Payroll Specialist - FULLY REMOTESalary: $70,000–$80,000 (based on experience)My client is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join their team and oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll. The ideal candidate will have experience managing full-cycle payroll, preferably using Paycor, and possess a strong understanding of payroll regulations and best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess full-cycle payroll accurately and on schedule using Paycor.Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, pay changes, and benefits deductions.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.Process garnishments, direct deposits, PTO accruals, and other payroll adjustments.Reconcile payroll reports and assist with month-end and year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation.Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.Partner with HR and Finance to ensure accurate employee data and payroll reporting.Assist with payroll audits, reporting, and process improvements.Qualifications3+ years of payroll processing experience.Hands-on experience with Paycor payroll software strongly preferred.Experience processing multi-state payroll is a plus.Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and wage and hour compliance.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.CPP certification is a plus but not required.
