The QAM is responsible for leading all quality assurance and quality management functions within a production-driven operational environment governed by strict performance metrics, quality thresholds, and compliance frameworks.This role ensures end-to-end quality control, process compliance, inspection rigor, and continuous improvement across all operational workflows supporting mission-critical information processing activities.ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance Program Leadership:Lead all Quality Assurance and Quality Management activities across contract operationsDevelop, implement, and maintain Quality Control Plans aligned with contractual performance requirementsEnsure compliance with defined Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) thresholdsDesign and execute QA surveillance methodologiesInspection, Compliance & Metrics ManagementConduct statistical sampling and quality inspection activitiesMaintain AQL tracking systems and quality performance reporting dashboardsEnsure compliance with applicable privacy, security, and data handling regulationsMonitor operational outputs for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to proceduresRoot Cause & Process ImprovementLead root cause analysis and corrective action developmentIdentify performance gaps and implement corrective and preventive actionsDrive continuous process improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologiesSupport organizational process maturity initiativesContract & Stakeholder SupportInterface with government QA and oversight representatives as requiredEnsure alignment of QA processes with contractual requirements and quality frameworksProvide QA input into operational and program leadership decisionsRequirementsActive Top Secret clearance with CI Polygraph (required)Bachelor's degree required (BS/BA required)Master's degree preferred (MS/MA)Minimum 7+ years of Quality Assurance or Quality Management experienceDemonstrated QA leadership on performance-based or production-driven contractsExperience supporting high AQL (95%+) performance environmentsExperience with contract quality assurance surveillance frameworksRequired Technical ExperienceQuality Control Plan developmentStatistical sampling methodologiesRoot cause analysis and corrective action developmentPrivacy and controlled information handling complianceAQL tracking and performance reporting systemsQA surveillance design and executionPreferred ExperienceExperience with process maturity models (e.g., CMMI Level 3 or higher)Lean Six Sigma certification or facilitation experienceExperience developing QA plans aligned to government performance requirementsExperience in high-volume operational or records processing environmentsCERTIFICATIONS (Preferred)Lean Six Sigma Black BeltASQ CMQ/OEISO 9001 Lead AuditorCMMI-related certifications or assessment experience
