Family Services Specialist (Bilingual Creole required)

Join Our Mission to Empower Families!Location: Palm Springs, FLSchedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (M-Th: 8AM-5:30PM/Fri: 8AM-12PM)Pay: up to $22.28 per hour commensurate with experienceThe Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County is seeking a dedicated and bilingual Family Services Specialist to advocate for families and help them access essential early learning programs and services. If you're passionate about making a difference and fluent in English & Creole, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact in your community.What You'll DoProvide Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) services in person or by phone.Screen applicants for financial assistance and determine eligibility for programs such as School Readiness, VPK, CSC Scholarship, Head Start and Early Head Start.Advocate for families, assess needs, and assist with enrollment, transfers, and service terminations.Maintain accurate family information in the Enhanced Field System (EFS) database.Support families with child developmental screenings and provide timely notifications about childcare status.Manage a caseload while accurately documenting case notes and ensuring compliance with confidentiality and reporting requirements.What We're Looking ForBilingual proficiency in English & Spanish or Creole – Required (read, write, speak).Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Services, Social Work, or related field.At least 2 years of experience in CCR&R, eligibility determination, or childcare enrollment processes.Strong customer service and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ability to troubleshoot basic tech issues.Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRMs and cloud-based systems.Why You'll Love Working HereOpportunity to make a real impact in the lives of children and families.Collaborative, mission-driven team environmentCompetitive pay, benefits and opportunities for growth.Schedule: Mon-Thu 8:00AM-5:30PM, Fri 8:00AM-12:00PM.Benefits IncludeComprehensive health, dental, and vision insuranceGenerous Paid time off and holidaysRetirement plan with employer contributionTuition ReimbursementEmployee Assistance ProgramReady to join us?
