Skilled Assemblers 1st ShiftWe have opportunities for several assemblers to join the first shift at a busy manufacturing facility. These are first-to-hire opportunities. These positions involve assembly of fabricated parts to large or heavy sub-assemblies. The ideal candidates will be able to collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.Hours: 6am to 2:30pm, M-FPay: $18.50/hourFurstStaffing BenefitsHeavy Assembler Responsibilities:Prepare parts and materials for assembly by gathering components, assembling, and installingAbility to use hand tools, ferrule machine, riveter, torque wrench and power tools to finalize assemblyTest and calibrate parts to meet product specsIdentify and troubleshoot issues during the assembly processPrepare assembled units for shipping by packing, labeling and palletizingHeavy Assembler Requirements:Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the assembly fieldPrior manufacturing or fabrication experience preferredAttention to detail is criticalAbility to work independently and as part of a larger teamAbility to read and understand work instructionsPlease apply here or contact Emily at 815-656-4490.
