This team is launching a brand‐new Spatial AI practice , and this position will be one of the first engineers on the ground . You'll help build real, production‐grade AI agents used by internal service teams — not experiments, not slide decks. This role sits at the intersection of AI, data engineering, and geospatial intelligence , and plays a key role in expanding the client's internal GenAI platform.What You'll DoBuild and deploy AI-powered agents using Python and LLM orchestration frameworksWork inside the client's in-house GenAI/GPT ecosystem , extending AI capabilities for geospatial use casesDevelop APIs and backend services that integrate : LLMs; Internal enterprise data; Business logic workflowsHelp productionalize AI tools with : Logging and monitoring; Guardrails and reliability standardsSupport spatial logic (distance, proximity, filtering) where applicableCollaborate closely with: Geospatial engineers; Data science partners; Platform and solutioning teamsWhat Success Looks LikeYou've helped ship a working AI agent used by real teamsThe solution is reliable, observable, and scalableYou're comfortable operating in an evolving, greenfield environmentYou communicate clearly with technical and non‐technical partnersWhat We're Looking ForRequiredExperience building production-grade backend services (APIs, agents, pipelines)Exposure to LLM tooling or orchestration frameworks ( LangChain/LangGraph or similar)Familiarity integrating cloud-based data systems ( AWS preferred)Comfort working with ambiguity and evolving requirementsNice to HaveGeospatial or GIS experienceData science or ML modeling exposureCloud experience beyond AWS ( GCP )Disclaimer: Brooksource, Medasource, and Calculated Hire are part of the Eight Eleven Group family of companies and operate under Eight Eleven Group, LLC.
