Position Highlights:
Hands On & Managerial: the role is hands on in the kitchen and managerial: you will be working alongside the team to prep food, make orders, maintain and clean the kitchen, as well as manage the kitchen team and the kitchen operations
Back of House Focused: our kitchens operate with a primary focus on preparing delivery and catering orders, so you'll be focused on back of house operations: food prep, order assembly, and kitchen maintenance
Growth Potential: we’re hiring for managers who can work 40-50 hours a week, with potential to grow as you demonstrate your performance
Training: you will be trained for 4-5 weeks on all functions in the restaurant to operate with a small team.
Responsibilities: you will be responsible for all aspects of running the kitchen with world-class excellence: assembling meals, preparing food, cleaning, operating all equipment, opening and closing the restaurant, ordering food, taking inventory, managing catering orders, and hiring, scheduling, mentoring, and training the team

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
Maintain safe equipment, food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards
Manage your restaurant team, including: hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, mentoring, sharing feedback with, and (if necessary) disciplining and terminating team members to maintain a culture of both excellence and positive teamwork within the restaurant
Manage & participate in food prep, order assembly, and cleaning with speed, consistency, and accuracy according to company standards
Regularly check inventory & order food with partner vendors to maintain proper stock levels and manage food costs
Prepare, manage, and coordinate catering orders throughout the week
Regularly check online reviews and operations data to ensure the restaurant is operating at a high level
Proactively solve problems in the kitchen to maintain continuous operations
Demonstrate and uphold consistent mastery of company recipes, quality standards, and values to ensure the restaurant operates with excellence
Maintain regular lines of communication between the kitchen team, management, and the support team
Abide by the rules and regulations of the facility that Ben’s Fast Food Restaurants, Inc. operates out of.
Required qualifications:
5+ years of restaurant experience, ideally in high volume restaurants
High school diploma or equivalent
Have a ServSafe Food Manager Certificate or equivalent
Able to physically move in tight spaces quickly and efficiently
Able to stand on your feet for 8+ hours
Able to lift 50+ pounds regularly
Preferred qualifications:
