Travel Occupational Therapist - Rehab

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with LTC or rehab setting experience for a senior living and rehabilitation facility in Harrisonville, MO.Job Details• Work in an occupational therapy department within a senior living community,• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts,• Shift start time is flexible between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM, provided the schedule is consistent and communicated with the Director of Rehabilitation,• 35 hours per week,• No weekend or on-call requirements,Job Requirements• Active Missouri OT license required; compact licensure accepted (Missouri license required if applicable),• Minimum 1 year of OT experience required; new graduates with Level II fieldwork experience will be considered,• LTC or rehab setting experience required,• 1 professional reference required for consideration,Additional Information• Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develop individualized plans of care,• Administer rehabilitative interventions including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of assistive/supportive devices,• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide clinical decision-making,• Monitor and document patient progress, treatment outcomes, and discharge summaries in the electronic documentation system,• Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and required in-service trainings,• Provide consultation and education to patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare providers,• Supervise and support occupational therapy assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students as needed,• Adhere to NBCOT, AOTA, and state practice standards, ethics, and code of conduct,• All licenses and certifications must be active at the time of consideration,
