This family owned and operated business is seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join its team and wear a variety of different hats including project management, continuous improvement, analysis, quality, training and development and more! Some incredible perks of this role include the following: Role autonomy Growth potential Full benefits and excellent base pay Minimal travel Professional / office setting Essential Job Functions: · Implement and drive the safety, quality, delivery, cost metrics and goals for the wash centers, bag manufacturing, and fabrication areas · Develop training, testing, and implementing software, hardware, and systems supporting manufacturing flow · Develop, maintain and train leaders on work instructions to support wash plant and bag manufacturing production. · Analyze and recommend equipment for all areas of the wash centers and facilities. · Lead the installation of capital projects into the centers · Manage and analyze continuous improvement projects · Assist in the determination, forecasting, and control of the engineering budgets · Evaluate and resolve problems in Manufacturing and train operators to resolve issues independently · Participate in design reviews and provide input on the feasibility, production costs, etc. · Plan improvements for the facility and existing equipment and processes with managers, to optimize and establish wash center line design · Establish and ensure compliance with preventative maintenance schedules and spare part inventories Other duties as assigned. Skills: · Demonstrated ability to coordinate work of others to achieve performance standards. · Excellent problem-solving skills · Proven ability to develop and maintain a sequence of event documentation in a demand-driven environment. · Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong computer skills Education and Experience: · Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required; Master’s degree is preferred. · 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing related role Job Type: Full-time Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Schedule: Monday to Friday Ability to Commute: Rochester, NY (Required) Ability to Relocate: Rochester, NY: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
