Position Overview: Profession: Physician Specialty: Endocrinology Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Shift Type: Days Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Responsibilities: Primary Duties: Conduct patient consultations, both new and follow-up, within an outpatient setting. Manage inbox and review results for physicians who are not in the office. Maintain a patient volume of 10-16 patients per day, ensuring comprehensive and personalized care. Utilize telehealth services in addition to on-site coverage to expand patient access and care flexibility. Key Highlights: Schedule: Full-time (1.0 FTE) preferred, but part-time availability is also welcome. Regular hours from Monday to Friday, with no weekend requirements, offering a balanced work-life schedule. Support: A 1:1 Medical Assistant to Physician ratio provides robust support in daily operations. Additional support from RNs, front desk staff, and a practice manager ensures a smooth workflow and efficient patient care. Environment: The position is entirely outpatient, with no required procedures or thyroid biopsies. Orientation includes comprehensive EMR training to get you acclimated with the Cerner system.
