Job Description:A healthcare system in New York City is seeking a licensed Physician to join their growing Infectious Diseases team in the Bronx. About the OpportunitySchedule: Monday to FridayHours: Standard business hoursSetting: Hospital-based (1 day remote/administrative)Patient Population: 12 to 15 per day Responsibilities:Provide care to an urban, underserved, underprivileged populationWork 4 months on the inpatient floor, 8 months in the outpatient clinicSee an average of 12-15 patients per day ( 2 clinic shifts per day)Serve as an attending/specialist providing primary care to HIV patientsProvide consults to all departments and divisions in need of services by an Infectious Disease SpecialistPerforming other duties, as needed Qualifications:Current unrestricted NYS medical licenseBoard Certified/Eligible in Pediatrics and Infectious Disease (MD or DO)Your privacy is important to us.
