SQL Database Administrator

Overview As a SQL Database Administrator, you will manage mission-critical SQL Server environments and support reporting and ETL development. You will partner with developers, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver high-performing, scalable database solutions. The role blends hands-on DBA duties with SSIS/SSRS troubleshooting and ETL work, including backups, performance tuning, and migrations. You will work with cloud-hosted databases, including Azure, and contribute to on-call deployments. This is a hands-on, collaborative role in a fast-paced technology team with a focus on reliability and data-driven decision making. ResponsibilitiesAdminister and optimize Microsoft SQL Server environmentsPerform database maintenance, backups, recovery, performance tuning, and job schedulingTroubleshoot production and non-production database issuesDevelop, support, and maintain SSIS packages and ETL processesCreate and troubleshoot SSRS reportsSupport Azure-based database solutionsCollaborate with developers, QA, and business users to support applications and reportingAssist with migrations, upgrades, deployments, and system enhancementsParticipate in on-call support and after-hours deploymentsDocument database configurations, processes, and best practices Key requirements3+ years of SQL Server DBA experienceStrong SQL Server administration, maintenance, and performance tuningHands-on experience with SSISHands-on experience with SSRSExperience developing and supporting ETL processesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentcommunicationcollaborationproblem-solvingMicrosoft SQL Server administrationSQL Server maintenance and performance tuningSSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
