COMMERCIAL TRUCK DRIVER REQUIREMENTSFOR HIRING PURPOSESPer our insurance provider, all truck drivers must meet the following requirements to be insured and hired using standard processing:Minimum age of 23 yearsTwo (2) years current experience with similar equipmentPrefer two or less minor violations or accidents in the past three years Any violations/accidents beyond two would need to be reviewed by the insurance company and treated as an exception to standard and be processed with a special request to be eligible to hire. In addition to the above, company policy is no major violations of any kind are allowed, and these would include:All alcohol or drug related offensesLeaving the scene of an accidentDriving while license is suspended or revokedReckless, negligent, or careless drivingSpeeding in excess of 20 mph over the posted limitDriving 85 mph or greaterTexting (unless the MVR clearly states it was in a personal vehicle)Other serious violations not listed, for example, hit & run or manslaughterPaid vacation based on salary and length of service with two week noticeRider policy with purchase of a passenger insurance policyPre Pass Plus Elite401-K plan with annual employer matching up to $3000Insurances to choose from: health/dental/vision, accident, cancerMemberships to choose: legal, identity theft, vision, wellnessOrientation pay for new drivers possibly including transportation, hotelSteel-toe boot allowance up to $60 per yearTWIC membership paid 50 percent of cost
