We're committed to quality, precision, and the success of every individual who helps drive our mission forward.About The RoleWe're looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to develop accurate and efficient manufacturing plans for printed circuit boards (PCBs). In this role, you'll interpret customer drawings and specifications, collaborate with CAM, engineering, and production teams, and ensure all jobs are properly planned, documented, and released for manufacturing.Duties & ResponsibilitiesUse ProCim software (or equivalent) to plan jobs accurately, including work order creation and schedulingReview customer drawings, purchase orders, and specifications; extract and interpret manufacturing requirements; communicate directly with customers as neededAssemble and validate all manufacturing data (stack-ups, materials, layer counts, drill data, etc.)Plan and support rigid, flex, and rigid-flex board jobs, including multi-layer, HDI, and sequential laminationGenerate travelers, work instructions, and shop floor documentation per company standardsVerify tooling prints, clearances, and mechanical features prior to productionIdentify and communicate discrepancies in customer documentation to sales, customers, or internal stakeholdersApply relevant IPC standards (e.g. IPC-6012) in planning decisionsCoordinate with CAM, engineering, quality, and production teams to validate manufacturabilitySupport expedited/rush orders and adjust plans dynamically as requiredMaintain revision control for customer data, drawings, and specificationsMonitor job progress, escalate delays or issues, and provide corrective planning feedbackContribute to continuous improvement initiatives for planning processes and documentationWillingness to be cross-trained in other areasRequiredJob QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent5+ years of relevant experience in the PCB industry, ideally in planning or process engineeringProficiency with planning, CAM, or ERP systems (ProCim or equivalent)Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex mechanical and PCB drawingsExperience with rigid, flex, and rigid-flex PCBsFamiliarity with IPC standards (IPC-6012, /S space addendum, IPC-6013, IPC-6018, etc.)Experience working with Mil Spec, ANSI, ASME or related specificationsStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsEffective written and verbal communication skills, with ability to resolve discrepanciesCapacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to work overtime as neededPreferredAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, or Manufacturing TechnologyPrior experience in planning or process engineering roles within PCB manufacturingFamiliarity with continuous improvement or process optimization initiativesCompensation & BenefitsHourly Pay: $36 - $44 (based on experience, education, certifications, and specialized skills)Comprehensive medical, dental & vision plansLife, accidental death, and disability insurancePaid time off & paid holidaysOpportunities for professional development and career advancementITAR Compliance NoticeThis position requires compliance with ITAR.
