Temporary Parking Lot Attendant
Fidelis Security Solutions has openings for Temporary Parking Lot Attendants to work the external parking lot and off-site parking locations for the music venue in north Colorado Springs. These positions are expected to start in mid to late April 2026 and continue until approximately October 2026. These positions are part-time, temporary and only for the duration of the concert season. It is anticipated that these positions will involve working between 25 and 35 events during the season. The dates are subject to change depending on the concert venue’s needs.
Hours and workdays will vary depending on the schedule of events at the venue. Generally, from 1 to 3 events are scheduled each week, but some weeks may not have any events scheduled while others could involve multiple events. Applicants should be flexible and available to work at most events. Shift times will vary but will generally fall between 3pm and midnight.
Temporary Parking Lot Attendant positions are paid $16 per hour. Uniforms and/or safety vests are provided.
Job Summary:
The Temporary Parking Lot Attendant position is responsible for ensuring the safe movement of vehicles entering and leaving the parking areas of the venue or off-site parking locations. Attendants will ensure vehicles enter the appropriate traffic lanes for the type of parking required. Attendants will facilitate the ingress and egress of vehicles before and after an event in conjunction with security staff and law enforcement. This role involves providing assistance to employees and visitors as needed. This position does involve standing and/or walking in areas with moving vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
Parking Control:
Directs vehicle and/or pedestrian traffic at control points to facilitate the ingress and egress of customers
Ensures vehicles park in designated areas according to legal requirements and instructions of event staff
Incident Response:
Reports emergency situations to security personnel, law enforcement or emergency services as necessary.
Access Control and Visitor Management:
Provides assistance to employees and visitors with any safety concerns or access needs
Provides directions and assistance to visitors.
Additional Duties:
Picks up garbage in parking areas after shows end.
Follows directions of security staff, supervisors, client staff and law enforcement at the venue.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be 17 years of age or older at time of employment.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations professionally and efficiently.
Must be able to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends, in all weather conditions, as required.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, patrol designated areas, and respond promptly to incidents.
