Algorithm Engineer

Location: Ontario, NY (This is a 100% on-site role.) In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing algorithms that power our advanced CNC systems and applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research scientists and software engineers, to transform complex problems into elegant, scalable solutions with real-world impact. Key Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include designing and implementing algorithms for various computational problems, analyzing and optimizing existing algorithms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate algorithms into production systems, conducting testing and validation, staying updated on algorithmic research, and documenting developed algorithms. Requirements and Qualifications: Candidates should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field and proven experience in algorithm development and programming. Proficiency in languages such as MATLAB, .Net and Python is required. Experience in G-Code and toolpathing is desired. Necessary technical skills include a solid understanding of mathematical principles, experience with version control, and an understanding of machine motion.
