Superintendent - Pump Stations We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pump station construction management and will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires exceptional leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and team members. Duties Supervise daily operations on the pump station construction sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Coordinate and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks. Utilize construction management software Read and interpret blueprints to guide project execution and resolve any discrepancies. Conduct regular quality control inspections to maintain high standards throughout the construction process. Manage budgets effectively, monitoring expenses and making adjustments as necessary to avoid overruns. Train and mentor site personnel, fostering a collaborative work environment. Communicate regularly with stakeholders regarding project progress, challenges, and solutions. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all pump station equipment. Coordinate repairs and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Requirements Proven experience as a Pump Station Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in construction management software. Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively. Solid understanding of quality control processes in construction. Strong budgeting skills with experience managing project finances. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, and working in outdoor environments. Ability to work in varying weather conditions and emergencies.
