Incomplete applications will not be accepted or reviewed.Deadline to apply is Friday, May 15, at 4:00 pm.Warehouse SpecialistJob DescriptionFLSA Status: Non-ExemptSchool Classification : ClassifiedPay Schedule: Range 3 ($29.62 - $34.34)Work Schedule: 12 monthsLocation: OnsitePosition Summary: Supports the operations of the warehouse and lending library to ensure the school is aligned with its mission, vision, and core values.Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesMaintain the school's inventory of books, equipment, and materials at designated storage, office, or other operational facility.Prepare lending library orders for shipment (print order/shipping labels, pull items, package items for shipment).Prepare orders to be picked up by shipping company.Maintain shipping records in lending library online system.Create trainings for the lending library team to learn how to perform job duties and obtain any updates on job duties.Input items into the lending library system, when needed.Process lending library returns.Manage the transportation of lending library materials to the schools' authorizer location and drive to authorizer's sites.Assist with the lending library operation in all areas, as assigned.Work collaboratively with other departments to locate, ship, and track lending library items for teachers, education advisors, and general department use.Organize and coordinate the management of teacher and EA item returns for all school separations.Manage the Redlands storage unit, containing oversized lending library items as well as technology.Respond to all school related written correspondence, phone calls, voicemails, and emails within 24 business hours.Document and refer all formal disciplinary actions involving students and staff to school management ensuring compliance with the school's Uniform Complaint Policy and the school's Uniform Technology Policy; addressing and resolving complaints from students, parents, and staff in a timely manner; and complying with the provisions of California Penal Code Section 11166 (Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act).Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications GuideTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Experience & Education :Three years of directly related experience preferred.Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school and clerical or secretarial experience is required.Other Qualifications:State and federal background clearance (LiveScan) to work with students (Ed. Code 44237). No prospective employee can report to work without this clearance being received and Human Resources notifying the immediate supervisor of this clearance.Proof of a clear TB test or completed tuberculosis risk assessment questionnaire and certificate of completion by a health care professional dated within the last 60 days (Ed.
