Chief Plant Engineer

Job DescriptionMUST HAVE PRIOR BAKING MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE. We are seeking a skilled Chief Plant Engineer with prior Baking Manufacturing experience to join our team. As a Chief Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of our manufacturing processes and equipment. Your expertise in process engineering and mechanical knowledge will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant. Previous Bakery Experience if Preferred.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement efficient manufacturing processes and proceduresDesign and optimize production layouts to maximize efficiencyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement continuous improvement initiativesConduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot equipment issuesCreate and maintain accurate documentation, including schematics and CAD drawingsOversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of machinery and equipmentTrain and mentor technicians on proper equipment operation and maintenanceStay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technologySkillsStrong knowledge of process engineering principlesProficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and CAD drawingsExperience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologiesMechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair equipment issuesFamiliarity with logic controllers and robotics systemsAbility to weld and assemble components as neededIf you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for problem-solving and improving manufacturing processes, we encourage you to apply for this position.
