We are seeking dynamic professionals who embody our core values of Integrity, Commitment, and Excellence to join our growing Crew in support of our customers across the federal, state, and commercial markets.We are seeking a Systems Administrator to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract.What You'll Be DoingWork closely with a team to provide high quality, innovative system administration services to the Government customerWork with a team to identify and define requirements for new systems/system modifications, developing designs, and implementing and testing solutionsEnsure daily system monitoring, system backup and restoral, and application upgrades to ensure optimal and continuous system operationsBe responsible for ensuring system software installations, maintenance, break/fix activities, and cyber security mitigations are performed in accordance with established policies, procedures and service level agreementsCoordinate with hardware and software vendors and participate in all vendor-required activities, such as quarterly infrastructure reviewsThe successful candidate will:Have a firm understanding of Windows and Linux (Rel 8) operating systemsHave excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate effective and efficient interchanges with various members of the team and stakeholdersWhat You BringBasic Requirements:Must have 10, or more, years of general (full-time) work experienceMay be reduced with completion of advanced educationMust have 5, or more, years of directly related/specialized experience in a computer operations environment performing systems administration of either Windows or Linux SystemsMust have experience working with virtual environmentsMust have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (Security+)Must have an active DoD Secret Security ClearanceDesired Requirements:Have experience administering a Red Hat Linux environment using Red Hat Identity Management (IdM) ServersHave experience managing Windows Active Directory and Group Policy ObjectsHave experience conducting log analysis to assess root cause analysisHave comprehensive knowledge of Virtualization infrastructureHave DoD networking experience with classified data networks and strong grasp of red/black concepts and IA complianceDesirable Certifications CompTIA Linux+, CompTIA Network+, RHCSA and knowledge in Juniper NetworksWhy LaunchTech?LaunchTech is built on a single standard: Excellence, Period.
