The Director of Sales drives strategic growth by building relationships across the mining industry and positioning Turner Mining Group’s capabilities to key decision makers. This role is responsible for developing and managing a pipeline of qualified opportunities, shaping win strategies, and securing multi-year contract mining and earthmoving work.Key ResponsibilitiesPipeline & Account DevelopmentBuild and manage a strong pipeline aligned to strategic targetsDevelop relationships with decision makers and key stakeholdersIdentify, prioritize, and advance high-potential opportunitiesRepresent the company at industry eventsOpportunity StrategyLead sales strategy for active pursuits (including SSO development)Define positioning, differentiation, and competitive approachAlign internal teams and disqualify low-probability opportunitiesTechnical Sales SupportGuide application engineering with clear customer insights and prioritiesEnsure technical efforts align with customer needs and competitive positioningPursuit & CloseLead opportunities through pursuit and closing stagesCoordinate proposals, estimating, and strategy executionMaintain engagement with decision makers and support negotiationsAccountabilityAchieve sales objectives and revenue targetsMaintain high-quality pipeline and win ratesBuild strong relationships within target accountsScopeOwns overall opportunity strategy and directionDoes not perform detailed technical work, estimating, or lead final contract negotiationsThis role will require about 50% travel.
