Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionThe Forklift Operator II is responsible for safely and efficiently supporting warehouse and production operations within a food manufacturing environment. Operates forklifts and pallet jacks to stage and retrieve supplies and materials in a safe manner. This role ensures accurate movement, storage, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods while maintaining inventory integrity, food safety, and sanitation standards. The Forklift Operator II works closely with production teams to meet operational goals, comply with company policies, and uphold safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities.Accurately and timely records all inventory transactions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).Meets or exceeds established performance standards for productivity, efficiency, and volume.Safely maneuvers materials and products in congested and high-traffic warehouse areas.Maintains cleanliness and organization of dock areas, warm-up rooms, freezer, dry, and corrugate warehouses.Moves materials accurately between designated bin locations.Properly stores finished product and raw materials in assigned warehouse locations.Verifies the accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments during loading and unloading to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.Pulls and stages raw materials for production in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.Pulls, issues, and un-issues dry materials accurately and within required timeframes.Prepares daily spice mixtures for production with exceptional accuracy while meeting all food safety requirements.Performs ongoing cycle counts of raw and finished goods to ensure inventory accuracy.Safely and accurately loads and unloads containers and trailers.Adheres to all company safety policies, quality standards, standard operating procedures (SOPs), HACCP, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Performs other duties as assigned.RequirementsAvailable to work 10:00pm-8:30am, Monday-ThursdayHigh school diploma or TABE equivalent3 years forklift experience, w/position availabilityAbility to operate heavy equipmentStrong math skillsAble to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitivelyComputer literateKing & Prince Seafood offers a competitive Benefits package consisting of:Health Insurance w/ Prescription drug planDental InsuranceVision InsuranceHSA or FSAShort & Long Term disability insuranceLife and AD&DWellness programEAPHoliday and Vacation paid time off401(k)Access to: Critical Illness, Accident, and Travel Assistance InsuranceSalary Description$19.95+shift differential
