Role Overview:
The Marketing Director will lead and manage strategic marketing initiatives focused on long-term, relationship-driven account-based strategies. The role requires a deep understanding of B2B marketing, particularly with longer sales cycles and less direct lead funnels. The ideal candidate will excel in cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and managing the intricacies of account-based marketing projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
● ABM Strategy & Execution: Design and implement B2B marketing strategies to target and nurture key accounts, leveraging digital channels, organic social media, and webinars.
● Digital Marketing Oversight: Manage the execution of digital campaigns, focusing on content marketing, targeted advertising, and email marketing to support long-term account engagement.
● Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track and report on campaign performance using data-driven insights to optimize strategies, improve ROI, and achieve long-term marketing objectives.
● Market Research & Competitor Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities. Use these insights to refine marketing strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
● Budget Management: Control marketing budgets, allocating resources effectively across projects to maximize impact and ensure efficient use of funds. Recommend adjustments as needed based on campaign performance and strategic priorities.
● Industry Partnerships & Events: Build and maintain industry partnerships, coordinating events and webinars that align with account-based strategies.
Qualifications:
● Experience & Education:
○ 5+ years of experience in marketing management, preferably in a legal or healthcare-focused company.
○ BS/BA in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a relevant field.
○ Experience with B2B lead-generation marketing.
○ Experience overseeing paid media campaigns with focused KPIs.
○ Experience managing projects with standard project management tools (e.g., Basecamp, Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet).
● Technical Skills:
○ Thorough knowledge of web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) and Google AdWords.
○ Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
○ Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
○ Understanding of media budgeting, planning, and buying.
● Certifications (Preferred):
○ HubSpot or other CRM certification.
○ Google Analytics certification.
● Personal Attributes:
○ Customer-oriented approach with an aptitude for client retention and account growth strategies.
○ Self-motivated with a willingness to learn new tools and technology.
○ Positive attitude and willingness to ‘get hands dirty’ with hard deliverables.
