Join a team that prioritizes growth, open communication, and the tools you need to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.Location: Long Beach Northeast and SoutheastJob SummaryThe Speech Therapist/Pathologist (SLP) delivers in-home speech assessments, evaluations, treatment, and care as prescribed by the attending physician.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct speech/language evaluations and assess the home environmentIdentify equipment needs related to speech/language functionAssist physicians in evaluating functional levelsProvide treatment according to physician or dentist ordersDevelop and update the Plan of Care (POC)Diagnose functional speech deficits and establish treatment goalsAdminister therapy using appropriate techniques and equipmentDocument and report patient progress and condition in EMRParticipate in in-service education programs and clinical meetingsEducate other healthcare personnel as neededFollow infection-control policiesMaintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and patient privacyRequired Education & ExperienceCurrent state licensure as a Speech-Language PathologistMaster's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language PathologyMinimum 1 year of clinical SLP experienceAdditional QualificationsCurrent CPR/BLS certificationValid driver's license and insured personal vehicle (per Lorian requirements)Ability to read/follow written instructions and document care electronicallyAbility to work with adults (18+) with tact, patience, and professionalismSelf-directed and able to work independentlyFlexible and cooperative in meeting role responsibilitiesPhysical RequirementsMust provide pre-employment physical showing ability to perform job duties and absence of infectious disease signsMust pass pre-employment TB (PPD) test; annual testing requiredChest X-ray required for positive PPD history (every 5 years)Frequent driving, sitting, standingWork EnvironmentMay be exposed to infections, viruses, or unsafe environments within patient homesEquipment UsedSmartphone/tablet (for documentation)Motor vehicleWhy Join us?We are committed to our employees' well-being, offering a comprehensive employee benefits package that includes, but is not limited to:Competitive salary and, EAP, 401(K) with 4% matchPaid time off and paid holidaysMileage reimbursementEmployee referral program and opportunities for growth and advancementThis position is based on a Pay per visit compensation model.
