VDC Coordinator - Revit

Position OverviewA VDC (Virtual Design and Construction) Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the implementation of BIM (Building Information Modeling) and VDC processes and technologies on construction projects. This role requires strong coordination skills, proficiency in CAD software, and a deep understanding of construction processes and mechanical design.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with project teams to define and implement BIM and VDC processes and strategiesCoordinate and oversee clash detection and resolution using software such as Navisworks and RevitEnsure quality control of BIM models and dataProvide technical support and training to project teams on BIM and VDC processes and softwareAssist in the development and maintenance of BIM and VDC standards and guidelinesReview and evaluate project design documents for accuracy and completenessUtilize Autodesk Construction Cloud, Revizto, GTP Stratus, Bluebeam Revu, Victaulic Tools for Revit, Procore and other software to facilitate BIM and VDC processesCommunicate and coordinate with project stakeholders including architects, engineers, contractors, and vendorsStay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in BIM and VDC technologyPrepare and present reports and analysis on BIM and VDC processes and resultsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field3+ years of experience in construction, with a focus on BIM and VDC processesProficiency in CAD software, particularly Revit, and clash detection software such as NavisworksStrong understanding of construction processes and mechanical designKnowledge of piping systems and piping codesExperience with Autodesk, Revizto, Bluebeam, Revit, Procore, and other BIM and VDC softwareExcellent coordination and communicationBenefitsHealth/Dental/VisionFSA Account OptionLife Insurance and Disability401(k)
