Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Fee For Service

Job Description Our organization is actively looking for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in South Carolina. ***Clinicians must hold a valid license and reside in the state where they will be practicing.****** This position qualifies for a competitive ramp stipend for clinicians who can offer 30 or more hours of availability each week.***Compensation: This is a Fee for Service (W2) role, with an annual salary range of $130,000 to $187,000 based on 25-35 clinical hours per week. To ensure the safety and best practices for our clinicians and patients through telemedicine, our organization does not promote or incentivize the use of stimulant medications; rather, we provide them as an option based on the client's specific symptoms and diagnosis, leaving prescribing decisions to the clinician's judgment. We currently do not treat substance use disorders and strive to refer clients to in-person providers when symptoms are too severe for telemedicine treatment alone.Nurse Practitioners in our organization are expected to deliver care to a varied clientele with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more. They will engage with a wide range of age groups, primarily focusing on adults and adolescents, with plans to broaden care across all age demographics in the future.Qualifications:Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certification is mandatoryMaster's degree in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state requiredFamiliarity with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is advantageousA minimum of three years of experience is preferred; at least one year of psychiatric practice is requiredLicensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners must be licensed and reside in the state where they will be practicingAll clinicians must complete in-house training on our ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approach, followed by a certification exam. While all new hires will be enrolled in the ADHD Clinic and are expected to treat ADHD clients, there are no quotas for the number of clients or prescriptions.Responsibilities:Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients in an ongoing telemedicine settingWillingness to treat clients aged 14 and olderPrescribe medications to alleviate mental health symptoms as necessaryDevelop and collaborate with clients on personalized care plansComplete and/or administer relevant paperwork and assessment tools for clientsFollow our organization's Clinical Practice GuidelinesConsult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding clients, programs, and services at various locationsWhat We Offer:We are committed to supporting our employees and empowering them to thrive, allowing them to focus on delivering exceptional care to our clients.
