SAP PP Solution Architect

SAP PP Solution Architect with QM and MES/Remote (Houston TX)/ContractResponsibilities:Lead SAP PP solution architecture, design, and implementation across end-to-end manufacturing processes.Design integrated solutions covering Production Planning, Shop Floor Execution, and Quality Management.Provide strong functional expertise in SAP PP, QM, and integration with MES platforms.Translate business requirements into scalable SAP solution designs and functional specifications.Configure and optimize SAP PP processes including MRP, production orders, capacity planning, and scheduling.Design SAP QM processes including inspection planning, quality notifications, and results recording.Define and manage SAP PP/QM integrations with MES, shop-floor systems, and automation platforms.Lead integration architecture using SAP interfaces, APIs, IDocs, web services, and middleware where applicable.Collaborate with business stakeholders, manufacturing teams, and technical teams to drive solution alignment.Ensure solutions follow SAP best practices, enterprise architecture standards, and industry requirements.Lead solution workshops, gap analysis, fit-to-standard assessments, and design reviews.Support data migration, testing, cutover, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization activities.Provide technical and functional guidance to SAP consultants and development teams.Identify process improvements and opportunities for automation, digital manufacturing, and operational efficiency.Ensure solution quality, documentation, governance, and successful delivery across the SAP landscape
