Responsibilities:Security Program Support (Primary Focus - Clerical)Perform clerical and administrative duties in support of security procedures and requirementsAssist with processing, organizing, and maintaining security-related files, logs, and recordsReceive, log, and route security-related documents and requests under supervisionSupport data entry, report preparation, and document formatting related to security activitiesAssist with setting up and maintaining physical and electronic filing systemsShred and properly dispose of sensitive or confidential documents according to policyReceive telephone calls and visitors related to security inquiries and route appropriatelySupport preparation and tracking of routine security correspondence and formsMaintain confidentiality and follow established security and workplace proceduresWork in controlled or secured office environments as requiredAssist with escorting non-Telos personnel as neededOffice Assistant SupportHandle incoming calls, emails, and general communicationsGreet visitors and assist with reception and front desk coverageAssist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and eventsPerform data entry and update paperwork and internal databasesPrepare correspondence, proofread documents, and assist with word processingHelp maintain office common areas, supplies, and equipmentPerform general clerical duties and administrative errands as assignedMailroom & Logistics SupportCollect, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packagesPrepare outgoing shipments by weighing, labeling, and metering mailOperate postage meters and maintain daily postage usage recordsProcess deliveries from courier services and coordinate internal distributionAssist with preparing bulk mailings (folding, inserting, sealing)Maintain mailroom supplies and inventoryMake occasional supervised trips to the Post Office for special mail handlingQualifications:Currently enrolled in or recently completed a high school, vocational, or college programInterest in security administration, office operations, or government/industrial environmentsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProfessional communication and customer service skillsBasic computer proficiency (email, word processing, data entry)Ability to handle sensitive information responsiblyAbility to perform light physical tasks related to mail handlingLearning Opportunities:Exposure to administrative support functions within a security-focused environmentExperience with document control, recordkeeping, and confidentiality practicesDevelopment of professional office, front desk, and mailroom skillsUnderstanding of security procedures from a clerical and administrative perspectiveThe successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access sensitive information, which requires US citizenship.
