Childcare Center Assistant Director
Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Childcare Center Assistant Director located in Puyallup, WA. The Childcare Center Assistnt Director will be responsible for helping the Center Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of the childcare center, including supervising staff, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, and communicating with parents and stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesAssist in Developing, implementing and review policies and procedures for the childcare centerEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal regulationsManage staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluationsAssist in planning and implementing educational and recreational activities for the childrenMonitor the safety and well-being of the children at all timesEnsure the cleanliness and maintenance of the facilityDevelop and maintain relationships with parents and other stakeholdersAssist in preparing reports and other documentation as neededQualifications20 ECE Credit, Short certification, at least 2 years as a Lead Teacher or 6 months experience in childcare administration or management or a related fieldKnowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to childcareExcellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to manage and motivate staffAbility to develop and maintain relationships with parents and other stakeholdersCommitment to providing quality care for childrenCompany Description A Childs Place Learning Center is an Equal Opportunity employer.
