Website Design Contractor – SeaShareSeaShare is seeking a qualified contractor to design and build a new website from scratch. The goal is to create a modern, user-friendly, and visually engaging website that clearly communicates our mission, impact, and opportunities for engagement.About SeaShareSeaShare is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving access to nutritious seafood for food banks and feeding programs across the United States. Since 1994, SeaShare has provided more than 275 million servings of seafood to communities in need through partnerships with the seafood industry.Scope of workBuild a new website from scratch using Squarespace or WordPress Develop a modern, clean, and easy-to-navigate design Migrate selected content from the existing websiteCreate 8 pages/tabs with content (text and images) will be provided by SeaShareThoughtfully design and structure content to highlight key messages and organizational impact Integrate social media links and feeds, newsletter sign-up, embedded video, and donation/payment widget Ensure mobile-friendly design Provide a platform design that SeaShare staff can easily update and manage internallyRespond to and integrate feedback and design requests from SeaShare staff in a timely mannerMeet with SeaShare staff at the start, middle, and end of the project to review details, progress, and final deliverables RequirementsWebsite must be fully editable by SeaShare after launch Full ownership and administrative access must be transferred upon completionNo ongoing maintenance required after handoff All rights to the website will belong to SeaShare. No contractor branding or advertising will be included on the siteThis is a fully remote project; the contractor provides their own equipment and workspace QualificationsExperience designing websites using Squarespace or WordPressExperience designing websites for nonprofits or mission-driven organizations Ability to translate content into a compelling visual story that reflects SeaShare’s mission and impact TimelineProject start date: As soon as possible. Website must be completed by May 15, 2026.Budget The budget is expected to be in the range of $4,000–$8,000, depending on experience and approach.
