Job Title: Desktop Support SpecialistLocation: Irvine, CA (Onsite)Duration: 6 Months (Potential for extension or permanent conversion)Schedule: Monday – Friday (40 hours/week)Work Type: 100% OnsitePay Rate: $26 – $36/hour (based on experience)Job Summary:The Desktop Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support for desktop computers, laptops, and other network devices. This role includes installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software to support end users in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Configure and deploy desktop/laptop systems using standard imaging toolsInstall, upgrade, and maintain hardware and softwareTroubleshoot issues with PCs, printers, monitors, and related equipmentProvide support for operating systems and Microsoft Office applications (including Outlook)Support Mac OS (OSX) and mobile devices (iPhone/iPad)Manage inventory of IT equipment and update asset recordsReimage and redeploy systems ensuring data security complianceHandle incident tickets and provide timely resolutionCoordinate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolutionProvide loaner equipment when neededRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED1–3 years of desktop/technical support experienceStrong troubleshooting skills (hardware & software)Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft Office SuiteFamiliarity with Mac OS (OSX, iOS devices)Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independentlyPreferred Skills:Experience with SCCM, imaging tools, or endpoint security softwareKnowledge of inventory management and incident tracking systemsIf you are interested, please share your updated resume along with your availability to discuss.
