CNC Lathe Programmer

Apply at Laser Access today! *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* * *Work in engineering to create robust, efficient, and repeatable processes for new work orders.* * *Create programs using Mastercam for CNC Lathe Machines.* * Revise programs to eliminate errors, and retest programs to check that problems have been solved. * Analyze job orders, drawings, prints, specifications, and design data. * Observe machines on trial runs or conduct computer simulations to ensure that programs and machinery produce items that meet specifications. * Assist team members in other engineering projects as required. * Other duties may be assigned as needed. *EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE*: * High School Diploma Required * *Expert in Mastercam, minimum 3 years.* * Lathe programming experience is a must. * Experience in 5-axis CNC Programming is a plus. * Experience in large gantry mills programming is an advantage. * Strong Microsoft Office Suite experience, particularly Excel * Experience with JobBoss or related ERP software is a plus. * Experience in a production environment is a plus This is an in-house day shift position.
