CNC Machine Operator

As a CNC Machine Operator, you will operate conventional, specialized, and computer numerical control (CNC) machines-including lathes, grinders, milling machines, drill presses, and assembly stations-to fabricate or assemble both metallic and non-metallic materials.What We Offer:Pay of $20.50$1 shift differentialFirst Shift | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PMSecond Shift | 3:00 PM - 11:30 PMThird Shift | 11:00 PM - 7:30 AMMonday to Friday*Comprehensive benefits package for direct hiresWhat We're Looking For:High school diploma or GED, OR4+ years of manufacturing experience with required CNC experienceExperience in a fast-paced, lean manufacturing environmentStrong math skills, with knowledge of ratios, proportions, geometry, and trigonometry (a plus)Basic computer knowledgeKnowledge of and adherence to safety policies and proceduresAbility to lift up to 35 pounds repetitively and stand for extended periodsCapable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment*Ability to work overtime and weekends as neededWhat You'll Do as a CNC Machine Operator:Start and monitor machine operations to detect malfunctionsVerify that finished workpieces meet specified standardsLoad and unload CNC machines or assembly stationsPack finished materials into dunnage for shipmentLoad and unload CMM/measurement systemsMaintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standardsMove materials as needed using pallet jacks, carts, etc.Read and follow job aids, work instructions, standard operating procedures, and policiesComplete required tasks within the established cycle timeInspect and assemble small components to meet quality standardsUse handheld gauges to ensure accuracyProperly tag and process defective parts through the nonconforming material procedureManually load, unload, and move materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, baskets, and shelves on foot and by hand as requiredOperate all equipment safelyTrain on and perform all machining and assembly operations according to established processes and proceduresPerform minor machine maintenance, including cleaning machines, dies, workpieces, or adding coolant to machine reservoirsProvide support to other departments as neededPerform additional tasks as assigned
