Orthopedics Physician Assistant

We are seeking experienced Locum Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to support an Orthopedics team at a Level I Trauma inpatient setting starting February 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment with a collaborative orthopedic team. Coverage Dates Feb 9 13, 2026Feb , 2026Feb , 2026Mar 9 13, 2026Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 5:00 PM Practice Setting Inpatient Orthopedics Level I TraumaAdult and Geriatric patient populationEMR: EpicApproximately 300-bed facility ️ Key Responsibilities Orthopedic consults and roundingHistory & Physicals (H&P)First assist as needed (not guaranteed)General support of orthopedic surgeons on call Candidate Requirements AANP/ANCC (NP) or NCCPA (PA) certificationActive Colorado license or Compact RN licenseActive DEA (or eligibility to obtain)Active BLS (or willingness to obtain prior to start)NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days)Experience in orthopedics or trauma preferredFirst assist experience highly preferred Additional Expectations Availability for listed datesWillingness to complete EMR training requirementsNon-local candidates preferredAbility to work in a high-volume clinical environmentClean background and credentialing history Interested?
